Cindy is an accomplished writer, having won her first competition at the age of ten.  Although currently living in Los

Angeles, Cindy hails from Michigan.  She brings an innate Middle America sensibility to her writing.  She has studied at

the UCLA Screenwriters’ Program, has a BAA from Central Michigan University in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, with

an emphasis in journalism and currently coaches with screenwriting guru Pilar Alessandra.  

Since childhood, writing has been her most natural form of communication.  She’s written short stories, two novels, and

four screenplays, three of which have been recognized in the Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting competition, sponsored

by the Academy of Motion Pictures.  And, Cashmere Glove: The Feminine Approach to Business™, co-authored with

Sara Harrell, is the perfect marriage between her business career, her involvement with women’s causes, and her gift

for writing.
